April 1 – May 31, 2026 - Travel to Taste Krk / Put do okusa Krka 2026
This spring, the city of Krk once again becomes the centre of authentic island gastronomic experiences. The new edition of the Travel to Taste Krk / Put do okusa Krka promotional campaign brings special menus and creatively designed dishes based on local ingredients, local know-how and the rich culinary tradition of the town and island of Krk.
This year the project gains additional importance as in 2026 Kvarner holds the prestigious title of European Region of Gastronomy. This recognition confirms the quality, authenticity and sustainability of our eno-gastronomic offer, while Travel to Taste Krk naturally builds on that story, highlighting local products, knowledge and heritage as the foundation of a contemporary gastronomic identity.
From April 1 to May 31, fourteen restaurants in the town of Krk will offer specially designed menus that combine tradition with a modern approach to cuisine. Lamb, local cheeses and prosciutto, fresh seafood, island herbs and seasonal ingredients are reinterpreted with care and creativity.
Travel to Taste Krk is not only an invitation to taste delicious dishes, but also an opportunity to discover the stories and people behind the ingredients that make our region distinctive. Because in today’s gastronomy, quality is only the starting point – what truly remains in memory is the experience.
