On Saturday, May 16, 2026, the town of Krk will host Musikverein Koglhof from the Austrian region of Styria, who will perform a concert at Vela placa as part of their visit to the island of Krk. The concert will begin at 8:00 PM.

 

 

The guests will be welcomed by the Krk Town Band, and the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy both an independent performance by the Austrian musicians and a joint performance of several marches together with the local town band.

The Krk Town Band, one of the oldess musical associations of its kind in Croatia, has been active since 1832 and, throughout its long history, has established itself as an important promoter of amateur musical creativity in the town and on the island of Krk. 

 

Musikverein Koglhof brings together around fifty active members of different generations, united by their love of music and shared music-making.

 

We invite all lovers of brass music and good atmosphere to join us at Vela placa and enjoy an evening filled with music, socialising, and friendship.
