This May, the Town of Krk will shine to the rhythm of music, dance, and spectacular choreography through the international event Majorettes World 2026 – Croatian National Majorette Championship and European Majorette Cup, taking place from May 22 to 24, 2026.
Over the course of three days, visitors can look forward to an exciting program filled with majorette performances, parade marches, and competitive choreographies featuring majorettes from Croatia and numerous European countries. Around 1,500 competitors are expected to participate, while the event brings together top-level majorette dance, sportsmanship, and international friendship. The town of Krk will become the center of one of the most attractive majorette events in the region.
The program begins on Friday, May 22, with official training sessions for competitors. Saturday features a particularly attractive parade through the streets of Krk, starting from Trg krčkih glagoljaša and passing through Frankopanska Street, J. J. Strossmayer Street, Vela placa, and Obala hrvatske mornarice to the breakwater. In the afternoon, a ceremonial parade will take place at Kamplin Square, while the evening program is reserved for non-formation category competitions at the sports hall of Hrvatski kralj Zvonimir Secondary School.
Sunday is dedicated to competitive choreographies in the pom pon and baton disciplines, followed by the official award ceremony and closing of the event.
With its outstanding atmosphere, rich competition program, and the unique setting of the historic Town of Krk, Majorettes World 2026 – Croatian National Majorette Championship and European Majorette Cup will once again unite talent, energy, and team spirit in a celebration of the beauty of majorette dance.
