Free Interpretative Storytelling Walks "From Karst to Gold": September 21 and September 28, 2025

On two special September Sundays, we invite you to a unique journey through the old town of Krk – the interpretative walk "From Karst to Gold". This free tour is not just an ordinary sightseeing walk, but a story that turns the town into a living stage, and its streets into guides through centuries of history, art, and everyday life.

The walk begins at Trg krčkih glagoljaša, next to the impressive Romanesque Church of Our Lady of Health. Once dedicated to St. Michael, and later renamed during a cholera epidemic, the church today symbolizes hope and protection – the perfect place for the introductory story about health and the knowledge of medicinal herbs once used by our ancestors. The path then takes us to the modern seat of the music school, where sounds and stories reveal the island’s rich musical heritage. Here, you will learn how a simple piece of wood, in the hands of skilled craftsmen, becomes an instrument – a bridge between nature, art, and creation.

Šetnja završava na Trgu Kamplin, ispred Frankopanskog kaštela, jedinog sačuvanog profanog srednjovjekovnog spomenika u gradu.
