Free workshops: Making Easter decorations
The two-hour workshops will take place in the Krk Handicrafts Association's premises, at Trg sv. Kvirina 1, in the town of Krk, according to the following schedule:
- April 8th, 11th and 12th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, weaving olive branches workshop
- April 14th, 16th and 17th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Easter eggs making using the Krk sheep wool felting technique
The workshops are led by the Krk Handicrafts Association, Trg sv. Kvirina 1 (Kvirin Square 1), headquarters of the Krk Handicrafts Association
The workshops are open to all ages. Children under the age of seven can participate accompanied by an adult.

Storytelling Walk - Golden Drops of Krk’s Treasure
A Spring Walk with an Interpretation of Natural Heritage
Step into a story of herbs, olive trees and dry-stone walls. Saturday, April 19, 2025 join us on a walk that awakens all the senses and leads to the heart of the untouched nature of the Golden Island. Our route follows part of the renowned Camino trail before leading us onto the "Paths of the Golden Drops of Krk’s Treasure"—the western route, a scenic route through ancient olive groves, dry-stone walls and fragrant herbs shaping this magical landscape. Along the way, you will hear stories of the dedicated people who have preserved this land for generations, revealing why Krk is known as the Golden Island.
The highlight of the experience awaits at the KuSshh plantation near the village of Vrh - a fragrant oasis where you will discover the secrets of organic cultivation of over 60 plant species. Enjoy a relaxed tasting of olive oil and refreshing natural juices, crafted from the power of plants and a deep passion for nature.
Departure: 9:30 from the town of Krk, meeting point at the Sundial
Route: The walk begins at the coastline, continues along the Camino Krk trail and towards Salatić Castle, where a short break and a story about the landscape await. The journey continues to the KuSshh plantation. After the visit, the return route passes through fragrant olive groves and along dry-stone walls back to the town of Krk.
Distance: 14 km
Difficulty: Technically easy, moderately demanding in terms of endurance
Duration: 4-hour walk + 1-hour tasting session at the KuSshh plantation for a special price of €6 per person (payable on-site)

Free Bike Tour: Discover the Hidden Gems of the Island
Easter Monday (April 21st) in the town of Krk offers a perfect blend of springtime recreation and exploration of nature, history, and tradition. The Local Bike Sightseeing Tour is a free guided cycling tour, open to recreational cyclists of all ages – a great opportunity for a relaxed ride through the scenic landscapes of the island’s western side.
Route: Krk – Kimpi – Kaštel Salatić – Lakmartin – Muraj – Kornić – Krk
Meeting point: at the Sun Clock (between 8:30 and 9:00 AM)
Start: Krk waterfront, 9:00 AM
Distance: 23 km
Elevation gain: 380 m
Duration: up to 2 hours of easy cycling
