This summer, the sounds of the Krk Brass Band will once again fill the town’s central square. As one of the oldest musical associations of its kind in Croatia, this distinguished ensemble has been nurturing and promoting the rich musical heritage of the town and island of Krk since 1832.

Organized by City of Krk Tourist Board, Vela placa will become an open-air stage on three concert evenings – July 1, 14 and 29, 2026, starting at 9:00 PM. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a diverse musical programme featuring traditional compositions for wind orchestras, as well as well-known domestic and international evergreens and popular pop and rock hits.

Join us and spend pleasant summer evenings celebrating music, tradition, and the distinctive sound of the Krk Brass Band.

Admission to all concerts is free.
