Marking the jubilee 20th edition of Fig Days, the City of Krk once again celebrates one of the Mediterranean’s most iconic fruits and its long-standing culinary tradition.

Alongside a rich cultural, educational and entertainment programme, from 21 to 30 August, Krk’s restaurants and cafés will offer special fig-inspired culinary creations, showcasing just how versatile this seemingly simple fruit can be in the kitchen.

From savoury combinations and creative interpretations to sweet treats and refreshing flavours, figs will take centre stage in a variety of forms, depending on the special offering of each participating venue.
