The Tourist Board of the City of Krk proudly invites you to the 19th Fig Days, an event continuously held in Krk since 2007. This tribute to the valued Mediterranean fruit – the fig – brings together lovers of tradition, gastronomy, and culture, reminding us of the important role the fig has played for centuries in the diet of the island’s inhabitants.

 

Fig Days are primarily aimed at educating visitors and the local community about the fig – its history, cultivation, nutritional value, and diverse uses. At the same time, the event positions the city and the island of Krk as an authentic Mediterranean gastronomic destination.

 

 

 

 

The rich programme of the event blends tradition with modernity and offers engaging activities for all generations – from expert lectures and creative workshops to music performances and special gastronomic offers in local restaurants.
