This year, the town of Krk is celebrating the fig – its indigenous fruit – through the traditional Fig Days event.

In addition to the rich cultural, entertainment and educational program, which will be held in the final part of the event on the last weekend in August, from August 22nd visitors have the opportunity to taste creative dishes, desserts and drinks inspired by figs in as many as 14 restaurants and bars in the town of Krk and the surrounding area.

 

During Fig Days, these restaurants and cafés will offer an unforgettable gastronomic experience that combines tradition and creativity – in honor of the fruit that has shaped the Krk landscape and way of life.
