From ponds that once quenched livestock to forests of ancient oaks and picturesque chapels, Krk’s walking trails offer more than just recreation – they’re a journey into local heritage. The area surrounding the city of Krk is dotted with charming villages like Vrh, Kornić, Milohnići, and Glavotok, featuring stunning viewpoints and gourmet delicacies unique to the region. Among its sacred sites, don’t miss the beautiful chapels of St Krševan, St Donat, and St Fuska by the sea, as well as the Franciscan Third Order Monastery and the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Glavotok.
