Diving

Thanks to its rich waters shared with neighbouring islands, Krk offers over 40 diving locations, making it a paradise for divers.

From underwater tunnels and caves to shipwrecks, seagrass meadows, and sheer cliffs, a wealth of attractions awaits, not only divers but also underwater photographers. There are two diving clubs in the city of Krk, and there are also a large number of diving centres.

They organise guided tours and dives for you, and offer diving courses for children and adults. Particularly fascinating are marine biology courses designed to teach kids how to become ocean protectors. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, and whether you prefer scuba diving or freediving, Krk offers challenges for everyone.

We advise you never dive alone for your safety. Instead, look for a local diver to be your instructor and guide. Below you can find information about diving clubs and centres that will provide you with all the information, equipment and instructions for carefree diving on Krk.
