Triola Kamplin Fest: Island C major

Triola Kamplin Fest: Island C major

Triola Kamplin Fest showcases a variety of musical genres divided into three thematic sections and takes place multiple times during the summer. From diverse forms of traditional music and dance to pop-rock and jazz performances, as well as energetic band showcases, Triola offers something for every musical taste.

The festival is held from late June through July and August at the Kamplin Square. Its name derives from the musical term “triplet”, signifying three harmonised tones. In the case of Krk’s Triola, these are the C major notes: C, E, and G. The initials of these notes represent the festival’s three distinctive music programmes.

[C] Celebrate Local
[E] Easy Going
[G] Good Vibes

The C programme, held on Tuesdays, is dedicated to traditional music and dances. The E programme, on Thursdays, features pop-rock and jazz acoustic performances, while Saturdays spotlight energetic bands as part of the G programme.

Enjoy witnessing Krk tanac dances and klapa singing, recognised by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage. Younger audiences will be drawn to the bold rhythms of the bands, while romantic souls will be enchanted by acoustic performances under the stars.

Triola Kamplin Fest enriches Krk’s cultural scene, giving you the chance to celebrate music and art alongside the locals.
