Krk Music Fest: Because music knows no boundaries

On 21st June, World Music Day, Krk celebrates with a music festival that is a symphony for the ears – and the taste buds. Enjoy dazzling performances across a variety of musical genres, a fantastic atmosphere, and a street food corner for a feast for all the senses!  

The Krk Music Fest takes place annually around 21st June, marking World Music Day and the start of summer. Its repertoire spans a wide range of expressions, from modern acoustic performances to folk presentations featuring the distinctive two-part singing tradition inscribed on UNESCO’s List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. Folklore ensembles perform dances known as Krk tanac, recognised as part of Croatia’s cultural heritage and a visual delight.

Each year, the festival is graced by the performance of the Krk Brass Orchestra, founded in 1832, whose talented members play everything from evergreen classics to rock favourites. 

Local and international musicians take the stage, captivating audiences with their virtuosity and passion.
