Advent in Krk: Music, Lights and Holiday Spirit

 

Advent in Krk is a time when events take place in the very heart of the town, while the historic streets and squares outside the central area remain calm and quiet, creating a pleasant balance between liveliness and winter serenity.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The centre of Advent events is located by Veli Park, close to the town walls, where a semi-domed pavilion has been set up as the main stage for the music and performance programme. In front of the semi-dome, Advent stalls form a unique gathering and socialising area that becomes the main meeting point for festive encounters in the town of Krk throughout December.

 

During December, the stage hosts a varied programme of seasonal concerts, acoustic performances, and klapa and choral singing, creating a warm atmosphere and inviting visitors to linger, socialise, and enjoy open-air music.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Advent stalls enhance the experience with warm drinks, sweets, and winter snacks, while festive lighting and decorations further emphasise the intimate winter character of the event. The programme also includes a variety of activities for all generations, subtly integrated into the overall festive setting.
